*Tunisian Assistant referees too on the bill

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed referee Youssef Essrayri from Tunisia to officiate next month’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between Nigeria and South Africa holding inside the Nest of Champions stadium in Uyo.
Essrayri will be assisted by two assistants who also come from Tunisia, they are Yamen Melloulchi and Hassen Abdelali, with Said Mohamed Kordi as the fourth official.
The Match Commissioner is Andy Quamie from Liberia and Kotey Alexander Neequaye from Ghana will be referee assessor.
The match will be played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on the 10th June, as the race to qualify for Cameroon 2019 kicks off. Nigeria was not in the finals of the last edition thus, the upbeat to ensure the former two-time champions return to the centre of African national team football arena.
Libya and Seychelles are the other teams in Group E and only the group winners are guaranteed slots at the finals.
On paper, save for any upsets, the Nigerians are most favoured to sail through a group considered not too strong for the west Africans.
