Envoy urges Nigerians in diaspora to shun vices

*113 Nigerians graduated from Malaysian institution

Nigerians abroad have been urged by one of its envoy, to shun activities that can tarnish the image of the country.

Nigerian Ambassador in Malaysia, Alhaji Nurudeen Mohammed, gave the charge while addressing the members of the Nigerian community at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) after attending its convocation.

He noted that Nigerians, who were doing well abroad out-numbered those tarnishing her image, expressing delight at the good report of Nigerians related to him by the UUM management.

The envoy was represented at the event by the Deputy High Commissioner, Mr Yahaya Farouk while UUM management was represented by Director, Centre for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC), Dr Farizal Rajemi

Meanwhile, 113 Nigerians have graduated from FTMS Global College, Malaysia.

At the ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of the institution, Dr Sajlal Divakaran urged graduands not to relent in seeking knowledge and put into practical use knowledge acquired in the institution to better their lots and effect changes in their countries.
