*13 graduates of Nigeria Turkish Nile University earn First Class
Senator Ita Enang, Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly matters (Senate) has lauded the proprietors of the nation’s private educational institutions for their remarkable investments in Nigeria.
Enang spoke as the Special guest of honour at the 5th convocation ceremony of Nigerian Turkish Nile University held in Abuja at the weekend held at the International Conference Centre.
According to Enang, “let me use this opportunity to congratulate the students who are graduating today and wish them a great future.”
Senator Enang promised that the present administration will continue to support the education sector and also give the institution all the support it needs to succeed.
Zainab Yakubu Lado, daughter of Senator Yakubu Lado emerged as the best graduating student at the convocation ceremony.
Miss Lado earned a First Class degree in Biological Science to the delight of her father and thousands of dignitaries who thronged the International Conference Centre, venue of the ceremony.
”It was not an easy journey. It was full of twists and turns,” said Zainab Lado while responding on behalf of the 268 graduating students. “Never ever doubt the fact that we’ve been made to excel. Don’t ever doubt that,” said Zainab in her charge to her colleagues.
13 students bagged First Class degrees in various fields at the ceremony which was also attended by the National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Oyegun and the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ghali Na’Abba among others.
