Jalla urges Reps to save Nigerian football once and for all
*Lampoons Dikko for illegal NFF position

It is a cheery news that the Nigerian House of Representatives will be looking into the affairs of the corruption-ridden Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) about the same time that their English counterparts are probing the English FA.
Apart from the timing, one thing the Green Chamber should do for us is to ensure that this process is not for the fun. Why I am speaking this way is the derision with which one of the parties invited by the parliament is already sniding at them meaning by interpretation that they are hungry and want some settlement.
I was forced to go and check the list of the people who make up the committee, I am convinced that they are not parading credentials of hungry people. On behalf of the nation’s football football, tell them that we are looking forward to them to once and for all do the surgery and heal us of the issues of our football management.
If the House of Representatives do not finally resolve this matter, we may remain in this doom for another set of long time. Every reasonable Nigerian know the quality of corruption in the football house and the Reps must stand up and be counted for once in this situation.
Speaking on the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Jalla said, “that is another factory of corruption. Most Nigerians appreciate the fact that the current leadership is a great minus and they have been alleged to know how to escape inquisition. It is our prayer that the House of Representatives will be able to use this rare opportunity to quench the thirst of maladministration and corruption in this two sports agencies.
On the reported crisis in the League Management Company, Jalla said, “I know that Hon Nduka Irabor did not resign like a section of the media has made us to believe. Rather, he was stabbed in the back by people he invited to work with him.
jalla submitted that, “some years back, some Nigerians wrote Fifa and the response which was sent to Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima is very clear on the status of the leagues and affiliates of the NFF which then was NFA.
“which election brought Shehu Dikko into the NFF? He is only illegally parading himself as the second Vice President whereas the Constituted said you must be elected into the league first.
The LMC is an illegal contraption and its so called chairman cannot claim he is standing in the Board of the NFF. It is wrong and unacceptable. We are ready to storm the courts to seek for proper interpretation. This is a man who has been convicted by a court for contempt which he is yet to appeal or vacate.”
