Kano will massively support CHAN Super Eagles -Inuwa Sheriff

Kano State Football Association (FA) Chairman, Alhaji Inuwa Sheriff, has assured the invited players of the home-based Super Eagles, of the State’s warm reception. The NFF board member said this in Kaduna during Comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh’s 8-a-side football competition that was held in Kaduna.

Sheriff, who is also NFF Head of Protocol is happy the team has chosen his state. Kano State as a camp site for the team’s qualifiers against Republic of Benin or Togo saying the people of Kano love good football and now that the Super Eagles team is in the pyramid city, the people will show them love that they have never experienced as a team before anywhere in Nigeria.

With large attendance of fans during their training schedules, it shows that my people love Kano Pillars so much and we have some of our players Rabiu Ali Pele and Jamiu Alimi in the team. So, you know how happy they will be to see their players in the team.

We have taken it as our duty to make sure the team will enjoy everything they need to enable them to come back again to visit us in Kano or change their mind to play for Kano Pillars in the future, Sheriff said.

The Super Eagles will resume camping in Kano from 24th of July in their preparation for CHAN 2018 qualifiers in Kenya.
