*Show love to one another always
As Christians all over the World are observing Ash Wednesday signalling the commencement of the Lenten period, Nigerians have been challenged to let the fear of God be their watchword.
The Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church World wide, Most Reverend Prophet Dr Samuel Adefila Abidoye gave the charge in his message delivered at the Church International Headquarters, Galilee Land, Orile-Igbon.
Prophet Abidoye condemned the various killings and wanton destruction of lives in the country attributing it to lack of love and fear of God now paramount among the people.
The Spiritual Father who spoke on the theme “power of exploits” called on the people to show love to one another and move closer to God during this Lenten period.
He called on Christians to be steadfast and be focus in their worship of the most high God to overcome the challenges of life.
Prophet Abidoye charged them to be faithful and serve God wholeheartedly all the times.
The Spiritual Father who urged Christians to be prayerful and belief strongly in the power of Jesus Christ to turn things around for better, prayed for positive change in the life of the people and the nation.
He charged Christians and Nigerians generally to shun pride and exhibit the spirit of giving and sharing during and beyond the Lenten period.
The Cleric called on the people to use their talents and wealth to serve God with meekness as pride led to destruction.
He advised Christians to participate actively in the lenten period and use the period to pray fervently for peace and stability in the Country and across the globe.
Prophet Abidoye charged Christians to worship God in spirit and in truth.
The Spiritual Father called on the government to address the hunger and the perennial Petrol scarcity in some parts of the Country.
He added that most people now spend quality times to use in contributing to the economy of the nation at filling stations, a development he explained should be addressed with all seriousness.
Prophet Abidoye also called on the government to pay greater attention to road construction as most roads across the country are death trap.
