Nigeria @ 57: Governor Jibrilla Bindow reiterates commitment

*In his state broadcast of hope

Fellow citizens of Adamawa state, permit me to sincerely felicitate with you on the occasion of our 57th years as an independent nation.

We have every reason to express gratitude to Almighty Allah for keeping us together as a nation despite all the challenges of nationhood.

I know that we are passing through difficult rimes together especially with regards hard economic challenges and disturbing agitations leading to hate speeches and even attempts to create unwanted crisis.

But we would not allow them succeed in reversing the gains we have already achieved happily.

God in his infinite mercy has helped us to overcome our security challenges , thanks to the commitment of our president, President Muhammadu Buhari and the gallant fighting forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

On our part, we have succeeded within the last two years to upgrade our phisical infrastructure, improved on social service delivery and have  restored confidence in the process of governance.

But we are not done yet. By the special grace of the Almighty God, we shall continue to provide you with dividend of democracy in keeping with our mandate and support all government operations, including our obligation to pay our civil servants their salaries as and when due.

Finally, as we celebrate 57th year of our independence, as a nation, let me join all well meaning Nigerians to call on all of us to rededicate ourselves to the principles of peaceful coexistence, unity and development of our dear state and country at large.

Thank you and God bless you all.
