*Paired for the fifth time in World Cup finals
State Kremlin Palace in Moscow was the historic venue where the 2018 World Cup draws were conducted which for the fifth time is pitching Nigeria versus Argentina again. Russia will enjoy the outcome of this sixth outing.
Nigeria is paired in a group with Argentina, Iceland and Croatia in the Group D of the 2018 Fifa World Cup.
The west Africans and 2013 African champions will start their quest for glory against Croatia in Kaliningrad on 16th June, 2018.
Super Eagles will play La Albiceleste for the fifth time in the group stage of the World Cup. Previous fixtures had been in 1994, 2002, 2010, 2014 editions.
Shortly before the 2018 draws, Nigeria defeated Jorge Sampaoli’s men 4-2 in a friendly encounter at the Krasnodar Stadium in November.
