Politicians, looters fuelling controversy on Trump’s call to Buhari –ex-militants

Politicians who lost out in the last election in the country and looters of public purse, say former Niger Delta militants, are behind the recent controversies over the call made by US President, Donald Trump, to President Muhammadu Buhari, currently outside Nigeria on medical leave of absence.

The ex-militants who received amnesty in 2009 and under the aegis of National Coalition of Niger Delta ex-agitators, NCNDE-A finger politicians in the ranks of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and plunderers of national economy as people who have raised doubts and controversies on the said call.

The media, especially, online portals have been on over drive with many questioning the veracity of the call.

According to Israel Eshanekpe, also known as Akpodoro, President of  NCNDE-A these individuals wish President Muhammadu Buhari, dead following their desire to remain perpetually in the control of national wealth, noting that members of the opposition party have incurable appetite for corruption and sleaze.

Speaking to www.gongnews.net Akpodoro said that nothing justifies the death wish for fellow man saying Nigerians at the moment regret ever allowing PDP to ride roughshod on the polity for 16 years.

“The call on President Buhari by the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, was a testament to the global acceptability of the APC-led administration particularly, it’s relentless war on terrorism and corruption,” said the NCNDE President.

Akpodoro said that the call by President Trump put paid to  “irritating doubts” concerning the health of President Buhari.

Akpodoro also used the opportunity to condemn the former Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Andrew Yakubu, after a large cache of money was found in his possession.

According to Akpodoro, the money is enough to build two refineries or more in the country which is enough to provide thousands of employment opportunities for youths in the nation.
