*There are threats on me again
*There is over N3trillion to be recovered
*Mr President, your close advisers are deceiving you
Abdulrasheed Maina, the chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), who is supposed to appear before the National Assembly committees investigating his case has bared it all in a rave and viral YouTube publication where he gave out figures and documentary evidences to show his case.
In the publication which has gone viral already, he revealed amongst other things that when he met with the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) in Dubai, “I gave him documents on some monies to be stolen, N1.3trillion. when they returned, they found it to be so.”
You can follow exactly what Maina said:
“Some people wrote me WhatsApp messages threatening to kill me if I appear to testify before the National Assembly. They have threatened my lawyer, they have threatened to annihilate my family. I told them I am not fighting Ibrahim Magu. I and Magu are from the same state, Borno.”
Maina, in the video, called out the President of the Federal Republic, Mohammadu Buhari, “do not side EFCC, let us tell the truth as it is. Their thieves wearing the red uniform of the EFCC. I don’t want you to side them. Allow us to tell the nation the truth and you will see what you don’t know about them. Many of the people around you are deceiving you. They are not telling you the truth.”
“If I am given the opportunity, there is over N3trillion to be recovered and this will be done under one year. I know where the thieves have stolen and kept the money. If we can, as a team, recover N1.6trillion in cash, properties, valuables which we kept in the custody of the EFCC, we can still do it.”
He named all three heads of the EFCC team that worked with the PRTT including the current Acting Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), ICPC, Ministry of Justice, Attorney General, Accountant General etc
EFCC had 47 operatives who worked with us. Ibrahim Magu was then the Head of Operations. They were the ones who lead our operations. When they are through, they keep the recovered items. The cash is lodged in the CBN under the signature of former Finance Minister, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, (her footage speaking to the Senate was shown).
This is the first time Maina will be seen in the public domain since President Muhammadu Buhari ordered he should be asked to step aside to allow for his case to be investigated and reported back to him.
