The Chairman of NFF Media Committee, is also glad that the Super Eagles against all odd is able to turn the tide around and surprised book makers who had rated the Desert Foxes of Algeria and the current African Champions, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, ahead of the Super Eagles in the qualifiers for Russia 2018 World Cup . But our players has shown we can’t be ignored as long as football is concerned,” he said.
Kwande, however, call on early preparation for the team because it’s very important to start now, “we don’t need to wait till next year. We should start with all available FIFA windows to get our players in good shape. If we want to try some new players we should start now so that the best is all we can take to the World Cup in Russia. That’s what we should start now. I know the coaches and the technical committee people are capable of the challenges ahead. We are all on board for the progress of the team”.
