*We have structures to guarantee our plans work

General Lonsdale Adeoye (Retired) who acted as the Technical Director of the Shooting Federation in the recently dissolved structure said the future of the sport is so bright now with the resolution of major stakeholders that he should run for the Presidency of the sport.
Speaking at the two-day seminar organised to stimulate members of the modern needs of the sports as part of the preparations to make a marked difference in the future and bring greater honour to the nation, General Adeoye said, “we understand the challenges and have collectively and privately discussed the way forward.”
If and when elected on the 13th June, one thing I know very well is that we shall have abundance of equipment. Arrangements have been concluded both with the nation and abroad for this. I also know that some organisations that have concluded some private funding arrangements for the nation’s sports have agreed to include Shooting.”
Even on the para-shooting, we have also made some very advanced funding plans which when it matures will only make Shooting very attractive for new athletes who are desirous of making fame, name and bring glory to our fatherland.
We are the biggest revelation of success in the new march to national glory. Watch out for Shooting both at the able bodied and para-shooting levels. I am speaking with absolute confidence given the level of background work we have already concluded.
It is part of the education process that led to the two-day seminar. We intend to have several of these educative processes. We don’t want any of our athletes to fall prey to doping issues, they should all understand their personal, communal and corporate responsibilities to the sport. Our ambitions are tall, high and achievable.
