*Zambia will fall again

Member of House of Representatives and House Committee on Sports Hon. (Dr) Abubakar Nuhu Danburam, representing Kano Municipal federal constituency is very optimistic the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles, are just 90minutes away from Russia 2018 World Cup ticket.
Speaking with www.gongnews.net in his office at the National Assembly the Honorable member believes every Nigerian should be positive. For me with this team and with what I saw from the last games, if we keep that level of momentum, then that 90 minutes people are saying we are too close and we will not let the opportunity slip by.
“We’re really 90 minutess away. I know the Zambians will come and give us a fight but do or die we should implore the boys to look at the glory of playing at the World Cup and I know that’s is enough motivation for us on Saturday”.
Speaking on which side is more under pressure for the game, the former Commissioner for Sports in Kano State is happy with Nigerian Super Eagles’ current form and status on the log, I’m happy we’re not go into the match with some kind of pressure. Yes, we want to be there at the World Cup, but the pressure will be more on the Chipolopolo of Zambia that we beat them at home and that only puts them under pressure the more.
Hon Danburam added, “I know every player on the list is more enthusiastic to go to the World Cup. No player in the World who doesn’t want to go the World Cup. Players are measured by even their participation at the World Cup and what they achieve at the World Cup. Players are not judged by what they achieve in the league, but every player wants to wear the shirt of his country and be seen at the senior World Cup. For them they know the importance of winning that game and they’re going to go all out to win.
The support of the fans is another factor the member of House of Representatives is more particular about, for Nigerians, all we need to do is to pray for them and give them the full support because they’ll need it. I will call on every Nigerian to be patriotic and come out in large numbers to support the boys on Saturday and we should just remember this month is our country month of birth.
All Nigerians should endeavour to put on our country’s colour let the stadium go green on Saturday because the massive support from home is also a boost to our players on that day and with that the visiting team will feel intimidated because of the massive support for our team and you must agree with me that is enough motivation for us to win on Saturday, Danburam concluded.
