*We respect Zambia, but we are not afraid of Zambia

Super Eagles and Changchun Yatai FC striker is full of hope that the current form of his team mate in the Super Eagles is enough motivation for the team to triumph on Satuday.
The former Watford of England striker said “the team is prepared because most of the players played in their various clubs over the weekend. We are prepared. We know what’s at stake. We all want to go to the world cup. God made it so well that we are playing at home. With hard work, determination and the support from the fans in Uyo. We will win on Saturday” he said.
Speaking further the Changchun Yatai striker is optimistic he will be one of those saddled with the task of wearing the green and white jersey on Saturday. “We know the two teams will field 11 men and hopefully I will be part of the team that will be called upon on Saturday. I promise to give my best 101%. I have not been to the senior World Cup before. That’s a lot of motivations for me and I know my teammates are motivated to go to the World Cup. We will come out on Saturday and it’s not going to be an easy game with our hard work, dedication and determination like we did it in our last two games against Cameroon. This is a tough one and a different ball game. We are more focused against Zambia on Saturday.
The joy of every player is playing at the FIFA World Cup and that’s enough motivation for the team.
He also wants to dissuade people’s minds from the media hype and the mind games being played by the Chipolopolo team. It’s just a mind game the Zambians are playing saying they are coming here to win. They are a good team. We respect Zambia, but we are not afraid of Zambia. We are on top of the group if we are not doing well we will not be on top of the group.
With 10 points that’s a boost for us to beat them on Saturday. We will put up the same effort we started the qualifiers with and for us we need to concentrate for the game.
As they say if you are not prepared you will fail so preparation is key for us, we have to do away with the media report, what Zambians are saying is what Nigerians are saying. We just need to concentrate. You can say anything with your mouth but when you get into the pitch you need to get the work done. And all the hype will count for nothing so we have to do it on the pitch not just by saying it I have so much believe in the boys we have done it before we can do it again” Odion said.
