*Becomes the Garkuwan Furaka for his gestures

Member of the House of Representatives from Plateau State, Honorable Suleiman Yahaya-Kwande, has donated classrooms and books to two schools within his constituency as part of the efforts to support basic education of the children.
Kwande who commissioned two units of three classroom blocks he donated to the Local Government Education Authority Primary School and Government Junior Secondary School Furaka around JUTH permanent site and Sunnah Academy in Jos, also had it furnished with chairs and desk, where he also donated textbooks to the students of the two schools.
To demonstrate his love to break the yoke of poverty and help build the future by educating the future leaders who will take over from him by going to school, he did the commissioning on separate days.
Speaking the Principal of Sunnal Academy, Mallam Abdul Rahman, who expressed his joy on the gesture of Honorable Kwande, asked every other member of House of the Representatives to follow in the trend of Yahaya-Kwande who has chosen to develop the education of our kids who
will rule the country in the future.
Mallam Rahman also used the opportunity to challenge other politicians from the state to emulate the feat created by Hon. Kwande who always wants to make his people his number one priority.
Also speaking on the same development, the Interim Chairman of Jos North Hon. Phillip Nyiam praised the consistent project development of Hon. Kwande who has never stopped to improve the lot of his people and who always wants to do more for Jos North and Bassa people.
Speaking on his gesture, His Royal Highness, Ada Isaac Izang Isha, the District Head of Furaka who was so delighted with what Honorable Kwande did for his people has no choice but to confer on him the most sought after title on him as he named him the ‘Garkuwan Furaka’ which simply means ‘The shield of the Furaka’
The monarch told the people that their son has truly returned home to bring to the community what they truly deserved.
In his response, Honourable Kwande said he only believed in building his people for a better future and he will never stop developing his community because that is the only thing that makes him happy and he will continue as long as they people believe in his ability to deliver on his promises he said.
Also present at the epoch making ceremony of the commissioning of the school to his people are Ustaz Ibrahim Barkin Ladi Chairman JIBWIS Plateau State, District head of Furaka, community leaders, President and members of ACCDA, Afenifere group, Dongo Dutse, APC leaders and other party leaders, Directors of First Aid group, staff and leaders of Sunnal Academy Jos.
In a chat with www.gongnews.net Yahaya-Kwande added that “the effort is part of my stride in developing the future of the children in my area. One thing I hold dear in my heart is that education is the bedrock of the nation.
In confirmation of delivering on the basic goal of our party, the APC slogan, I needed to support the Universal Basic Education vision of parents and families with these structures.
