Adequate Planning, Facilities Stall NPFL Globalisation, Says Emeruwa

One of the leading Aspirant in the forthcoming Nigeria Football Federation,NFF Presidential election and Current ,CAF, Head of Safety and Security, Dr Christian Emeruwa which is scheduled to hold on 30th of September in the ancient City of Benin,says the Nigeria Professional Football League does not worth to be viewed on Television compared to other Leagues.

Emeruwa said while responding to Journalists at the NFF Presidential Debate organized by Sports Writers Association of Nigeria,FCT Chapter, in Abuja.

According to said Emeruwa, Nigeria Professional Football League has lost it’s pedigree in recent years and does not attract viewers because it’s not presentable.

He stated further that,the shady deals ventured upon by those at the helms of affairs of the league made it unpresentable to the entire world

He further lamented the gory state of the Sports facilities especially Stadium’s across the country,he also added that poor officiating and lack of adequate security of fan’s made the Nigeria Professional Football League unpresentable on Television.

Emeruwa therefore said if elected as the next NFF President, he will revamp grassroots Sport and bring the Domestic League back to it’s glorious past,even surpass it.
