During the assignment of the Maina Led Pension Reform Task Force Team, it recovered assets and funds worth #1.6 trillion and all assets are in EFCC custody.
Amongst the assets recovered from pension thieves by the Maina led Task Team, was a Maitama mansion worth over 2BN situated at 42 Gana Street Maitama Abuja.
We realised recently that Femi Falana has been very vocal in asking for Maina’s arrest and crucifixion, because he is afraid that Maina may expose him as a party to the stealing of pension loot that the Task Team recovered.
When an alarm was raised by some civil society groups on his illegal acquisition of the Maitama mansion, the ICPC swung into action, then Falana and EFCC arranged a fake scenario that one Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar of AA Oil was said to have sold the mansion to Falana at #1billion.
So, this is one reason why they are not comfortable with Maina being around.
How did Falana who is not known to have any high profile clients pay for a billion Naira (property) office.
The money (cash) N1BN was paid within 6 months to avoid prying eyes.

It is very easy for DSS to investigate the source of the estate and the source of the one billion paid. If Falana is truly an honest human activist as he pretends to be, I challenge him to submit himself to the DSS for investigation over this allegation.

  2. Our so called leaders that suppose to be an examples takes law into their hands n believe law is met for common man. May Allah deliver us from them.

The money (cash) N1BN was paid within 6 months to avoid prying eyes . We can see the reasons now why they just don’t want him around……

  14. This country is a joke, this matter will be swept under the carpet soon and we will not hear anything about it again, I can see why some people are not comfortable about the return of Maina.

The level of impunity and corruption under this administration is mind blowing..

  29. While many Nigerians agree that the President is incorruptible, developments like these continue to call his resolve to fight corruption to question. Why are men indicted for corruption still holding key positions in this government? Is the President sincere about the fight against corruption ?

  30. To many people especially those infested with
corruption , Nigeria being good is only when they earn without working for it. #Fact#

  31. It’s a shame Nigeria has nothing that works outside corruption
