The leadership of Ondo State Football Association has called on all its local council chairmen and other relevant stakeholders to join hands in a bid to return the lost glory of the game of football in the state.

The Chairman of the Association, Otunba Dele Ajayi stated this in Akure during the FA’s full council meeting held at the Ondo State Sports Complex Board Room.

Ajayi said the meeting was imperative to allow elected members of the Association from the nook and cranies of the state to encourage more football activities at the grassroots level as a matter of urgency.

“You are elected to serve the youths and to develop football in your locality if you can not do it again tell those people you are not ready to serve them again.

“Those who felt they can’t do it again should resign and let us conduct a bye- election and move football forward in the state.
