Al-Akhder Arrived And Train At Moshood Abiola Stadium

Plateau United opponent in the last qualifying game to the CAF Confederation group stage Al-Akhder arrived in Abuja on Sunday.


The team which has a delegation of 43 people, 28 players and 15 officials, while the team trained at the Moshood Abiola Stadium practice pitch on Monday evening.

Al-Akhder parades a Nigerian Essien Ededem who plays from the midfield.

According to the coach Samir Chammam, Wherever you play preparation are the same, but were not well received by the Plateau United team and when your team come to Libya we will give them a better hospitality than we were given in Nigeria in the spirit of sportsmanship, speaking on mixing sport with politics the coach advise African team to take away politics from football ” in Africa we need to start accepting defeat and victory that’s the only way we can start the revolution of football on the continent we need the sports spirit in us to be better, accept victory and accept defeat” he said.

The match will take place on Wednesday 2nd November at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja by 4pm.
