The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Anambra Governorship Election inconclusive.

Professor Florence Obi, the Returning Officer of the election, made the declaration at INEC head office in Awka, the Anambra capital late on Monday.

She cited the disruption of election in Ihiala Local Government Area of the state as the major reason for this, saying a supplementary election will hold on Tuesday.
