ASM Sustains Aiyedatiwa Ongoing Massive Support

One of Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa Support Groups, Aiyedatiwa Solidarity Movement ( ASM ), Ondo South caucus has declared that, Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa is the most suitable and capable aspirant among those jostling to be All Progressives Congress, APC gubernatorial candidate in the forth coming Ondo State APC primary election.

The group made this statement on Wednesday as it held a massive mobilization meeting at Ore in Odigbo Local Government.

The group disclosed that, one of the selling point of Aiyedatiwa is that he command large following in the State particularly among the political stakeholders, Religious and Traditional Leaders, Students, Market Women and the masses.

In his opening remarks at the impressive event, House of Assembly member, representing Okitipupa Constituency 2, Hon Lolade Gbegudu said, incumbent Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa remains the aspirant to beat in the coming primary election, based on his competence, experience, capacity, pedigree, strong political network as well as his record of service as Deputy Governor and now as Governor of Ondo State.

Speaking on Aiyedatiwa, Prof Simidele Odimayo said, the progressive and impactful way Aiyedatiwa is piloting the State since he was sworn-in late December was a strong testament to his competence, capability, capacity and incurable penchant for good governance.

The immediate past Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Tamiyu Takuro stated that, Aiyedatiwa means well for the State and also stands a better chance of winning the party’s ticket.

Former Ondo South APC Senatorial Aspirant and business man, Hon Odunayo Akinsola ( Kabonty ), declared that Aiyedatiwa has been power tested and done creditability well as NDCC commissioner, Deputy Governor and now as incumbent Governor.

“This is not about Aiyedatiwa, it is about the future of our dear State, it is about the opportunity that this man presents and what he is bringing to table which is tried and tested in governance” , declared Akinsola .

Another former Commissioner, Hon Mrs Yetunde Adeyanju explained the vision of Aiyedatiwa aspiration to the party and the State, said both the party and the State will benefit immensely from Aiyedatiwa’s experience and talents .

Other speakers like immediate Special Adviser to Governor on Gender, Hon Mrs Olamide Falana, Dr Roju Malumi, Hon Bola Ajimuda, Hon Success Torhukerhijo, Hon Wale Ogunmade, Dr ( Mrs ) Morenike Alaka, Dr Femi Akingbola, Hon John Meroyi, and Rt Hon Victor Akinwe declared that Aiyedatiwa has what it takes to continue leading Ondo State to a brighter future.

At the end of the meeting the group said “our decision was carefully taken, we painstakingly took an indepth and holistic assessment of Aiyedatiwa leadership styles, political sagacity, democratic credentials, human resources management and impeccable performance as Deputy Governor and now as incumbent Governor of Ondo State, so it is on this basis that we are rooting for him” .

“Aiyedatiwa is a man who has a sense of accommodation, tolerance, listening ears, humble, urbane and somebody who believe that democracy and rule of law is what we must promote for the common good”, they said

The group then directed their members to go back to their various Local Government, wards, Units for massive mobilization and House-To-House campaign for Aiyedatiwa .

Others at the well attended event are, Former SSA to Governor, Hon Andrew Shoga Ogunsakin, Hon Chief Tayo Eniku, Bombay Ladi-Okunniga, Barrister Segun Lema, Hon Albert Akintoye, Hon C.A Akinmulesanmi, Hon Adewale, Akintinehin, Hon Akinfe, Alhaji Fatai Olawale, Alhaja Ogbaro, Hon Benson Akinbo and other party leaders.
