By Olayinka Elebute

Nigeria Cricket Federation has invited 36 players to the National U19 camp in Abuja in preparation for the 2022 International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 World Cup qualifiers slated for later this year in Nigeria.
The players invited to camp were drawn from the National U17 Cricket Championship which took place in Benin City, Edo State in February.
An NCF statement said the camping exercise will run from 2-8 June 2021.
Nigeria stunned the cricket world when it qualified for its first-ever World Cup tournament at the 2019 edition in South Africa. Beginning their qualification journey in 2018, the unheralded team waltzed through five countries in Division 1 and another five countries in Division 2 to achieve the feat.

The players invited to camp include Paul Pam, Adams Ibrahim, Sunday Joshua, Boniface Oche, Huzeifa Abdulsalam, Theophilus Jeremiah, Chidi Onwubalili, Kenneth Boniface, Abdularauf Mahmud, Beki Mubarak, Ridwanullai Muhammad, Adewale Biokoto, Kingsley Chukwuma and Elochukwu Ndubudem.
Others are Udekwe Chiemelie, Nzube Nwokike, Chijioke Okafor, Elijah Saturday, Miracle Solomon, Selim Salau, Isaac Oyemgba, Prosper Useni, Destiny Chileamanya, Victor Ipoli, David Abiebhode, Monday Elijah, Kingsley Uduak, Adebayo Samson, Segun Omolewa and Lukman Kofoworola.
