Deborah Abiodun Visit U-20 Female In Training

Super Falcon Midfielder Deborah Abiodun on Tuesday paid a surprise visit to the Nigeria Under-20 team preparing for the All African Games in Ghana.

Deborah who was voted the player of the match against Cameroon Indomitable Lioness in the Olympics qualifiers on Monday.
According to her, I started here and I wanted to visit them and encourage them to always give their best. ” I play at this level and now I am in the Super Falcons so it’s my joy to always look back and encourage those behind me and the coach Christopher Danjuma is like a father figure to me right from my early days in Nasarawa Amazon so it a great privilege to always come back and thank him for what he did for me when I was with his team at the national level and club level’  she said.
Speaking further, ” I know that they will be representing Nigeria at the All African Games in Ghana next month and I just want them to use the tournament to build their career and go for Gold, Deborah explained.
On his part, Coach Christopher Danjuma gave  accolades and also reminiscence the time they had together from Nasarawa Amazon, and the Nigeria U-20  team
He has this to say, Deborah is a dedicated player who has shown what it means to work hard and she is discipline and focus and I am happy to see her progress and I can point to her as someone who has brought joy to us in the technical crew and now we all are very proud of her success and its my desire to see her achieve all that a female player can attain he concluded.
Deborah Abiodun plays for Pittsburgh Panthers  women’s soccer team representing the University of Pittsburgh in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) of NCAA Division I women’s college soccer league in the US.
