Chairman of Nigeria Beach Soccer Association, Suleiman Yahaya-Kwande has charged Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Melvin Pinnick to go for victory in Friday’s CAF Executive Committee /FIFA Council elections holding in Rabat, Morocco.

Pinnick, who is a seating CAF Executive Committee member and a former Vice President of the Africa Football Governing body, is contesting against Incumbent Malawi’s Walter Nyamilandu, Kenya FA President Nicholas Mwendwa, and Zambia’ FA President Andrew Kamanga for a FIFA Council seat for the Anglophone representatives.

The election comes up during CAF 43rd General Assembly Elective Congress in Rabat, Morocco.

According to Kwande, Pinnick’s typically never-say-die attitude, as well as his resilience and doggedness will aid him to get the coveted seat at FIFA. He also recalled that Pinnick displayed such confidence in 2016 when he first contested for a post on the CAF Executive Committee.

“I believe Amaju Pinnick is dogged, resilient, and has a never say die attitude. He possesses the qualities needed on the FIFA Council to represent the interest of Africa. He has done it before, he will do it again,” the NFF Exco member pointed out.

Kwande, on behalf of the association, threw his weight behind the Delta-born football administrator to come out successful at the elections while urging him to make Nigeria proud.

“We wish him well and we believe he will come out victorious and we can’t wait to celebrate with him,” Kwande concluded
