Flying Eagles To Depart For Cotonou Friday

Nigeria’s U-20 team, the Flying Eagles will on Friday depart for Cotonou, Benin Republic for the WAFU B tournament which serves G as qualifiers for Africa Cup of Nations AFCON finals slated for Madgascar next year.

The Ladan Bosson boys will take on their counterparts from Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday for their first game before playing Ghana in the other tie.

Only two days ago the Nigerian U-20 team thrashed the Zaria Academy in a friendly game as they prepare for the WAFU B tournament to be hosted in the Benin Republic.

Adewale Oladoye, Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi, and Chisom Orji all got the goals for the Flying Eagles in the match as they aim for a good outing at the WAFU B tournament in the Benin Republic.

Nigeria will be prosecuting the championship with a 20 man list which includes : Goalkeepers: John Amah (Box2Box FC), Chibueze Lambert (Abia Warriors), Kolawole Oladipo (Crown FC)
Defenders: Temitayo Ereku (Brookhouse Academy), Charles Etim (Blessed Stars), Mike Zaruma (Plateau United), Christopher Nwaeze (Kwara United), Moses Solomon (Calabar Rovers), Isaiah Ejeh (Kwara United), Jimmy Abdul (MFM)
Midfielders: Oladoye Adewale (Water FC), Liameed Quadri (36 Lions), Muhammad Abdallah (Nasarawa United), Azeez Oseni (36 Lions)
Attackers: Chisom Orji (Collins Edwin), Wisdom Ubani (Giant Brillas), Farayola Olawale (Kwara United), Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi (Giant Brillas), Nenrot Silas (Plateau United), Peter Olawale (Hapoel Ranana, Israel).
