Gaadi Assures Lobi Goalkeepers Enhanced Performance

A former U-23, Beach Super Eagles and newly appointed goalkeeper trainer for Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, coach John Gaadi has said the calibre of goalkeepers that he had met on arrival at the team, were endowed with talents that only needed to be developed and updated, to compete with world standard keeping.

Coach Gaadi who made this known Thursday, after a training a training session, stated that he was here to bring his wealth of experience to bear having played under great Nigerian coaches who had imparted much in him, so he would also do the same to them in Lobi Stars.

The experienced goalkeeper stated that, “I will update their training and they will bring results. This they will do by not allowing careless balls to pass into their net”.

The former Beach Super Eagles goal tender disclosed that since he arrived at the team two weeks ago, the standard of training of the goalkeepers had changed as their way of gripping the ball and approach was also taking a new dimension.

He charged them to take their training seriously and be hardworking, dedicated and committed to their training and above all, be disciplined because these are the only keys to success in life.

Coach Gaadi who expressed appreciation to the Vice Chairman of Lobi Stars FC, Aondofa Tama for finding him worthy of the appointment, promising that he will do his best to make a difference and achieve his goal by God’s grace, and commended the Benue state government for their unrelenting efforts towards ensuring that team never lacked anything it needed and appointing a visionary leader, Aondofa Tama as the vice chairman of the club, who was poised to repositioning the club and taking it to greater heights.
