*Oyo SWAN congratulates new chairman

Authoritative sources close to the Oyo state government has revealed that as part of the plans to reposition the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, former journalist and aide to governor Ajimobi, Mr Gbolagade Busari, has been appointed the Executive Chairman of the club.
According to sources that disclosed this to www.gongnews.net the former Daily Sketch newspaper reporter who recently returned to the country from America is expected to resume immediately.
“Governor Ajimobi has approved of his appointment and would be announced any moment from now. Busari was a former Special Adviser to governor Ajimobi. He was a former sports reporter before he left for USA for further studies.
Oyo state Chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Niyi Alebiosu, has sent his congratulatory message to the new boss of the club. He said of Busari, “he is a worthy and right choice. He is one person we believe strongly can reposition the club especially making it a “sports club” and a completely private sector institution.”
“At personal level, Mr Gbolagade Busari is one of us. We are happy His Excellency has picked one of us as the head of the club and we will do everything to help him cope and achieve results in this assignment.”
