Newly appointed Super Eagles Assistant Coach Joseph Yobo has said the task of working with the team will not be easy.

The Nigeria Football Federation NFF pulled off a most audacious move by appointing former Super Eagles captain and centurion Joseph Yobo as the country’s assistant coach.

Yobo, 39, replaced Imama Amakapabo in assisting Franco-German Gernot Rohr as he begins his coaching career in one of the hottest and most criticized coaching hot seats in Africa and even beyond.

But the former Super Eagles skipper said the task will not easy. He however said he is looking forward to the cooperation of the NFF and fellow members of the coaching crew to succeed.

” It is going to be a fresh experience a kind of big baptism of fire, but I have a lot of catching up to do,” he said.

He said it will be tough and onerous task to learning the curves is big just as the job but will be equal to the task.

No doubt, his relationship with the players will always seem as well as appear good, and this will do his brand new Eagles’ coaching journey a world of good.

His terms of contract will determine how Yobo will fare on his new job. The duration of his appointment is also not known.

Yobo, a thoroughbred professional is expected to sort this out before accepting this appointment.
