Kwande Mourn with Rigwe Nation

 

Two term member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Sulieman Yahaya-Kwande, visited the member representing Bassa/Jos North federal constituency, Hon. Musa Agah to commisserate with him and the entire Rigwe nation of Bassa Local Government over the ambush, killings, destruction of farms, and valuable properties that affected the economy and growth of the nation.

Accompanied by APC wards chairmen, excos, aides and freinds to the residence of the Hon. Member in Kwall District, Hon. Kwande described the ambush on the convoy of lawmaker that led to the loss of lives as barbaric and inhumane.

The former lawmaker commissarate with the Hon. Member and the irigwe nation over the unfortunate incidence and pray for God to bring an end to all the killings, attacks and the destruction of farms and valuables that have been going on in not only Bassa Local Government but the entire state and the nation at large.

Kwande also visited the family of Jonah Bre whose daughter was kidnapped last week but was released.

“Anything that affected irigwe, affected me too”. “We are all affected by these attacks directly or indirectly. Irigwe attacks are beyond any political party”. I commisserate with you and I pray for God to bring an ever lasting peace to the Irigwe chiefdom, Plateau State and the entire nation”.

Hon. Musa Agah appreciates the visit as timely in fostering unity and also thank him for always identifying with the Rigwe people and environs.


Kwande also visited the family of Jonah Bre whose daughter was kidnapped last week by suspected bandits. He contributed toward securing her release and reuniting with her family. He told the family, that he is part of them and promised to still help the young girl build a better career. The family appreciate the gesture and pray for him.

If you recall, on 19th April 2022, Two Irigwe youths were killed in an ambush on the convoy of the member of the Nigerian House of Reps – Mr. Musa Agah near a military shooting range in the Bassa Local Government Area of the State. The Hon. member survived the ambush but his car was destroyed.
