Ikorodu City emerged champions of the Lagos Supremacy Cup after a nail-biting final against Beyond Limits on Thursday at the Legacy Pitch. The highly anticipated match was attended by international scouts and grassroots football enthusiasts.
The Oga Boys, Ikorodu City, dominated the game from the onset, with Ezekiel Samuel scoring the opening goal. However, Beyond Limits equalized through tournament standout player Daniel Arierhi in the 59th minute.
The match saw both teams score once in the final 10 minutes, with Ezekiel netting again and defender Muhammed Abdullahi Ferinyaro scoring a crucial header to level the score. The game ultimately went to penalties, where Ikorodu City won 5-4.
In the third-place match, 36 Lion FC defeated Tripple 44 FC 4-1.
