Nasarawa FC ‘ll Return Back To Premiership – Othman


Chairman of Nasarawa United football Club, Dr. Othman Ibrahim Ahmed has said the team will return to Nigeria Premier Football League at the end of the 2023/24 season campaign.

The Lafia based team was relegated at the end of last 2023 season but Othman disclosed that with the tremendous support it is enjoying from the Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule he was confident the team will get back to where it belongs.

“We have been given an assignment and l can assure you that we will do the needful and make sure we gain promotion,” he said.

“We are here in Abuja for pre season preparations. We have played about six friendly matches and with what I am seeing,
” I think I am almost there honestly , it’s might sound very hopefully but am positive about’s still work in progress,” he added.

“This is the 6th match so far and this is the only match that we drew.
Others matches are 1-0 for the first one , second 3-0,third 2-0, the fourth 2-1.
In Terms of the support he said they are getting every support, more than enough support.

On the Technical crew of the team he described it as a perfect one with coach Adamu Usman an experienced gaffer in charge.

so he is really trying to resize, re-orient the crew for that so that we can achieve all we have. Yes ,he does have the height to take the Club high.With God on our side,he will be able to put knowledge ,talent and everything into play we will comeback there easily.

The Nassarawa United not happy playing In National League natural they were supposed to be playing in Npfl, what’s we meant by that is simply say that the big team Would-not be seen Lafia Arena and we are not blaming anybody for that but the supporters want to see the life’s of enyimba name it that’s just the meaning and interpretation of the statement,the supporters are not happy about the games but we should belong to were it’s happening,

The good things is that they are not a stranger in this game.

Nigeria National League will kick off this weekend.
