National Youth Conference Ends In Abuja, Dare Says It’s New Dawn For The Nigerian Youth

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare on Tuesday night wound down the 1st ever National Youth Conference held at the Velodrome of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

About Thirty Four States of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory sent delegates to the Conference. Major youth organizations and agencies including the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) also participated in the programme.

The youth produced a communique and presented a set of recommendations, gleaned from its plenary and break out sessions, to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development for implementation.

In his closing remarks, the Honourable Minister applauded the participants for taking advantage of the opportunity given them by the Federal Government for engagement, stating it was the beginning of a new dawn for the Nigerian youth.

Certificates of participation were handed out to all the delegates at the end of the closing ceremony.
