NFF APPOINTS EMMANUEL ADESANYA AS NNL COO

The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed the appointment of Emmanuel Adesanya, as the new Chief Operation Officer for the Nigeria National League. Taking over from the past COO Mr. Lawrence Katken., who has done a mandatory 35 years in service.

The New COO, has put in over 25 years of great service to Nigeria Football and where he has served in various capacity in the federation, he was one time the inaugural secretary of the Nigeria Women League, and one time Secretary of the Nigeria Under-20 team the flying Eagles to FIFA World Cup in Holland in 2005 where Nigeria lost to Leoni Messi led Argentina team.

He has also handle successfully some department in the, federation among them are Head of Africa Inter Clubs and Desk Officer Aiteo Federation Cup.

His appointment came at a time when the NNL need a capable hand to turn around the league and make it more vibrant and also lift the second tier of the Nigeria league to an enviable height to change the face and fortune of the Nigeria League for the best.

With Emmanuel Adesanya at the helm of affairs, it is believed that the league will attain the desired height it deserved and it will serve as the most powerful link to the Nigeria Premier League.
