North Central Handball League: Shammah Commend Organiser

Director of Sport in Nasarawa state Mr. Lawrence Shammah, has praise the organiser of North Central Handball League for sustaining the dominance of the game in the region.

Shammah former Secretary Nasarawa United commended the North Central Handball stakeholders for coming out to encouraged handballers in the region “these will help keep the dominance of handball, the players will also be updating their knowledge and it will also keep them fit and ready for the national youth games which is around the corner and also preparing them for 2022 National sports festival”, he said.

The organiser are looking inwards to see the next state that will host if we are approached we can’t say no to the idea, Nasarawa state is ready and we are calling on the organiser to consider Nasarawa as the next host of the North Central Handball League we are on the verge of getting the hosting right we are already deep in our discussion with the organiser.

Safely shooters emerged winners of both male and female categories, while Niger United were second and Benue Buffaloes are third. While in the female categories Plateau Peacocks and Benue Queens came second and third respectively.

Over 15 male and female teams participated in the one week event.
