NTF Caretaker President Happy With Nigeria Performances In Lithuania

Caretaker President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF), Mr. Ifedayo Akindoju has expressed excitement over the participation of the country in just concluded  Billie Jean King Cup competition.

“This is the first time we are participating in the competition and I think it is a good development for our girls.

My joy is that it will give the girls the necessary exposure and confidence like their counterparts in the world.

Oyinlomo Quadri, Sarah Adegoke and United States based  Adesuwa Osabuohien  hoisted the country’s flag in Vilnius,Lithuania.

Speaking with the journalist at the Nnamdi Aikiwe international  Airport  when the the team arrived Nigeria from Billie Jean tournament he said I have never done this in my life and I am so happy I knew  there a lot of work to to be done in our the participation  for the next tournament starts immediately the secret of the game is play more tournament and you will excel.

Also speaking at the event Coach  Rotimi Akinloye said the World Cup  tournament added that the players gave a good account of themselves.

“We have to give kudos to tennis federation mostly the President who ensure we participated in the tournament,” he added.
