Outbanjo Grateful To Fans After Scoring 12 Goals Of The Season

Nigeria international and Pyunik Yerevan fc Yusuf Olaitan Otubanjo was grateful to the club fans for their love and support towards after scoring in the 3-1 home win against BKMA Yerevan in the Amenain league on Saturday in the week 25 fixture.

The former Nigeria under- 17 star double the lead for host and league leader in the
72 min after J.Bravo scored first in the 59 min. Harutyunyan scored the third in the 74th minute. The visitor however got a consolation in the 86th minute through Eloyan.
The win placed Otubanjo Pyunik Yerevan on top of the league table with 55 points in 25 games while FC Noah was on the second with the same point and games with 8 goals difference separating the teams.

Reacting to the win, Otubanjo former RB Salzburg and Atiletico Madrid said ” hello guys, thank you for the support and love. I want to see you again after the international break. Your love and support are always welcome”. He said.

Otubanjo spent three seasons at Ararat- Armenia before joining Pyunik Yerevan two seasons ago.
During his time with Ararat-Armenia, he showcased his goalscoring talents by netting 28 goals in 77 appearances, which brought the interest of Pyunik Yerevan.

His football journey began with Emmanuel Amunike Academy in 2009, before he later played for Nigerian clubs like Julius Berger, Gateway, and Crown FC. He left the country in 2011 to join Athletico Madrid, reserve team.

He later went on to play for RB Salzburg, FC Pashing, Blau-WeiB Linz, MSk Zilina, Rheindorf Altach, Lask, and Ararat-Armenia before joining Pyunik last year.
