Oyinlomo And Adegoke To Restore Nigeria Pride At Billie Jean King.

Nigeria willl start its Billie Jean Cup campaign in style with Oyinlomo Quadri and Sarah Adegoke hoisting the flying flag in Vilnius, Lithunia from June 15 t0 19th.
The team led by coach Rotimi Akinloye left the country yesterday aboard Lufthansa Airline with the promise to make the country proud sheat the former Fed Cup.
Caretaker President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation NTF, Mr. Ifedayo Akindoju expressed excitement over the participation of the country in the competition.
“This is the first time we are participating in the competition and I think it is a good development for our girls.
My joy is that it will give the girls the necessary exposure and confidence like their counterparts in the world.
Algeria, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Cyprus, Ghana, Iceland, Ireland, Kenya, Kosovo, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Namibia, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Norway, Rwanda, South Africa, Zimbabwe.
Round robin – there will be five groups of four teams and one group of three teams.
The group winners will contest a play-offs draw to determine which two teams are promoted.
