Police Vows to Hunt Down Imo YPP Chairman’s Killers

 

The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Aderemi Adeoye has vowed that the Command will hunt down and bring to justice the killers of the Nanka Ward Chairman of Young Progressive Party (YPP).

Some yet-to-be-identified persons have shot dead the Chairman, Nanka Ward 1, Young Progressives Party, Chief Joe Mohel.

 

 

Earlier, gunmen killed the Young Progressives Party (YPP) chairman in Ibeme ward, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, David Uche.

Uche was gunned down in front of his family house in Ibeme at about 7:30am on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

The CP who, in a release signed by the Command’s Spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, condemned the killing of Mohel in strongest possible terms, and described the killers as “cowards who have murdered sleep”.

“They might think they have committed a perfect crime and that they would get away with it but they delude themselves.

“The Police is already working on vital clues to unmask the perpetrators.

“The Command wishes to re-assure all law abiding citizens especially in Nanka not to be afraid but to join hands with the Police in bringing the murderers and their sponsor to justice”, the statement read.
