Sadiq Umar Hints At La Liga Stay

UD Almeria forward, Sadiq Umar says he is okay playing in the Spanish La Liga despite reports linking him away to other top European clubs.

The 6ft 4in striker joined Almeria in October 2020 and helped the club to achieve promotion to the Spanish top flight last season.

Sadiq Umar made his La Liga debut against Real Madrid last Sunday.

“I’m okay playing in the Spanish La Liga because it one of the best league in the world,” said Umar.

“You can see even Real Madrid proving like winning the champions league like normal league so am okay playing in La Liga but you know the future, you never know where you can be in football but am okay in La Liga.

“The future you never know but am ready to take any steps but let see what will happen.

“If I stay in Almeria, I am happy but the future in football you never know.

“I have lot of offers and we will value and see if it to go or stay. We see what will happen, I don’t know, it depends on other clubs,” Umar concluded.

The 25-year-old have been rumoured to closing on a £30m switch to Villarreal.
