Super Eagles Is The Team To Watch…Coach Yomi

By Olayinka Elebute
The outstanding performances of the Super Eagles at the ongoing AFCON in Cameroon, has received more praises and accolades from a Nigeria CAF D licence coach Yomi Faloye, the coach who was impressed with the team display against the Pharaoh of Egypt while speaking with Gongnews on the impressive performance of the team said the team has proved everyone wrong with the victory over Egypt.
” For me I am impressed with the team,  in so many years Nigeria have never been able to play this level of compact football that I witnessed against Egypt Tuesday,  I am so amazed with the game and I am not really surprised I know the ability of coach Austine Eguavoen having worked closely with him recently” the coach said.
Speaking further,  I am so impressed with the way our midfield were able to curtail the pressure from the Egyptian opposition our player were able to control the game from the midfield,  for me all it takes is one moment of  blistering goal scoring opportunity to make an impart and there is no better way to celebrate the one nil victory we experience against the Egyptian team”
Looking at the tactical output of the team, “for me the tactical display of the super eagles is nothing to really worry about i think we will get better as the competition progresses and also the changes were very important I could see the game management of the Super Eagles were very glaring and for me I just  feel we should not relent in the victory and we should just assumed we still have more task ahead we should approach the remaining two games as if we have just started all over from ground zero. I want to see the high pressing in our other games defensively we are marking from the opposition half, And our defence line were up to task I am impressed and I don’t think Nigeria has played like these in many many years I give thumb up to the coaching crew they have made Nigeria proud.
Speaking on the technical experience on the side of the Egyptian team, coach Yomi praises the Nigeria bench for breaking down their opposition and considering the fact that a veteran coach Carlos Quiroz led the pharaoh of Egypt and also parading one of the most prospective African prospect on the continent Mohammed Salah who was completely silence we never saw him make any difference and I must say the Eagles are the team to watch out for in Cameroon, he concluded.
