Ademola Lookman was instrumental for Atlanta in their 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League. The Nigerian winger scored a goal and provided an assist, helping his team bounce back from a tough opening loss under new coach Raffaele Palladino.

After the match, Lookman addressed the transfer rumors that surrounded him during the summer, stating that he has moved on from the saga. “What’s happened has happened. A lot’s gone on. Some things people know, others they don’t,” he said.

Lookman emphasized his focus on helping Atalanta win games and strengthen their position. “Right now is the time to work hard for the team, and we need to win games. That’s the most important thing, to get stronger every day.”

The win was significant for Atalanta, marking their first victory under Palladino’s leadership. Lookman praised the result, saying, “I think it’s important right now to get the victory, as 3-0 away from home is a really good result.”

With this win, Atalanta now sits 10th in the Champions League standings with 10 points from five matches, just two places outside the Top-8 bracket that guarantees automatic passage to the Round of 16.
