By Olayinka Elebute

One of the outstanding Custom Volleyball player Isaac Geoffrey  is optimistic his team will retain these year National Premier League,  disclosing  this to gongnews.net after his team defeated UCEM by 3 straight games 25-22, 25-17, 25-16 at the ongoing Premier League at the indoor Sport hall of  Moshood Abiola Stadium.

“With just 2 games to go we will be crowned 2019 Champion, we have never lost to the Police team in our history and we play Civil Defence in our last game so we are more determined to retain the 2019 champions” he said

Though our game against UCEM was a bit slow as our fans were expecting more firepower from my team, what we got from them affected our games as we have to come down to their level and I think the level of opposition determine the way you will play and I think in our remaining games you will see a better Custom team on Thursday he opined

The Captain thank the Secretary for Sports Nigeria Custom Services  Mr. Sam Onikeku for their excellent support the team has enjoyed before the commencement of the league, the management gave a good camping treatment the best I have witnessed as a Volleyballer, “We were camped for over 3 weeks in preparation for the league and I think that has kept us strong for the league and can tell you we are ready to win for our management who has been there for us he concluded.
