We Are Hopeful Of Good Result Against Adamawa… Ayeni

By Olayinka Elebute
Chief Coach of Sunshine Football Club Akure Ayodeji Ayeni, is optimistic his team can get the valuable point in Gombe against Adamawa United speaking with journalist in Abuja after his team penalty win over Green Beret in the Aiteo Cup earlier in the week.
“I am absolutely positive positive in the sense that we can do it in Gombe, when we went to Owerri no body gave us a chance to do it and also  against Kano Pillars nobody gave us a chance when we beat them in Akure and now that we have won the Aiteo game against Green Beret my players are tired  and I can see fatigue in my boys the last few days we play like 3 matches within a week and now that we have time to recover from the fatigue I know we can get a valuable point in Adamawa” the gaffer said.
“With the way we are at the table we can redeem our position in the league we have played 9 matches we won 6  and, we lost 3 with the challenge cup too and its a good performance for the boys and a team that was struggling before I came on rescue mission and I am optimistic we will survive from the drop zone” Ayeni concluded.
Sunshine are 16th on the league table with 36 points from 32 games so far played while Adamawa are rooted to the bottom of the league with 23 points from 32 games.
