Vice President of Nigeria Basketball Federation NBBF, Chief Babatunde Ogunade has said that the federation is not going back on its Olympic Games plans as it continues to plot ways to ensure that Nigeria have a good outing at the games one Tokyo, Japan.


Nigeria will be presenting two teams in the male and female categories of the Olympic basketball championship.


Ogunade speaking with journalists amidst moves to postpone the Games said the board of the NBBF would not want to be caught unawares until the organisers make a final pronouncement on the Games.


He disclosed that everything in terms of camping has been put in place at their regular site abroad where players can easily gather as a team for the task ahead when time comes and stressed that the hygiene will simply be taken more seriously.


“We are not going back on what out plans are. And camping for the national team is even easier for us, we have a regular camp site that is open to everybody and we take the hygiene seriously and we are going ahead with our plans until it is called off “, he said.
