The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation Nimrod Musa on Monday in Abuja as laud out that he needed more support from investors in other for Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) to grow to a greater height and winning more laurel for the country.

He said this while addressing journalists in the just concluded championship game of under 18 girls and Under 19 boys in Abuja, that NVBF needed the support of all stakeholders, private company and individual companies for the development of Volleyball and other sports in Nigeria and African in particular.

I urge all stakeholders to support and help the Federation to grow from grassroots development to youth development, so that the sport can develop, because sponsorship matter a lot.

“Looking at Cameroon team they were well kitted by a company, and they came with delegates all kitted, well composed and I too needed Nigeria team to look more brightener.

I have moved the Federation to this height and I don’t want it to fall rather than to reach a higher height.

According to him,I Appreciate the team Nigeria for their wonderful performance both the male and female team.

we are ranked number 14 in the world and also 14 in African .it was a fantastic and tough game but we make it to the world cup qualifier in Mexico for the female team and Iran for the Male team.

He said that the Federation needed more sponsors so that we can win more laurel for the country’,he added.

I appreciate all the countries that grease the competition. A delegation from Morocco, ambassador from Cameroon and Republic of Gambia.

On his side, Habu Gumel said that the private sector should come out in strong terms to support the Nigeria Volleyball Federation and other sporting activities not only in volleyball because the government can’t do it alone.

I am appealing to all philanthropist should show interest in sports and come and support development in the country.

Once you key into that, once they are within the country or outside they can perform very well.
