The organiser of Naija Super 8 are not resting on the success recorded from the just concluded inaugural edition of the tournament, as they are planning more innovative angles to raise the bar for the subsequent edition of Naija Super 8 tournament.

Gongnews.net can exclusively revealed that Flykite promotions are looking at various ways to make the next edition attracts international status.
According to Mr. Jenkins Alumona the organiser of the Naija Super 8 tournament, ” we are seriously looking for way to grow on the success of the maiden edition of the tournament and for next year we want to plan on how to add an international flavours to it by inviting teams from other African countries or Europe to help us raise the profile of the tournament” he said.

Speaking further, “we know it was not easy bringing these to fruition but I must appreciate the CEO of Multichoice West Africa Mr. John Ugbe, for believing in the dream and for his total commitment to the project, without him it would not have been possible to host such a successful tournament in Lagos.”
He however, thank the Lagos fans for turning out in large numbers and he promised that the tournament will always get better in the future he concluded.

The maiden edition of the tournament saw Sporting Lagos outclass Remo Stars in a thrilling penalty shout at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Onikan.
