Leading Nigeria football agent Paul Omamomo Ojo, has made know\u00a0 his intention is to see the next generation of Nigeria young football is to be educated while playing the game at the same time speaking to journalist at the just concluded Vista Football scouting programme held in Abuja.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0“Vista is a football program that combine football with education, and its a football development centre that combine football with education in Russia and they scout players from all over Africa countries and\u00a0 it’s a program for underage players where\u00a0 any players that are scouted will have to play football at same time go to school\u00a0 in Russia, and\u00a0 this is also a fantastic opportunity for Nigeria young player to play and school”.<\/div>\n

Explaining further, I choose to get involved in these simply because of\u00a0 the educational value it offers for young footballers and I believe that these young players need the education in their life,\u00a0 and after\u00a0 their careers as footballer when I had the opportunity I did not think twice to get involved for Nigeria youth and I will not hesitate to give more of these offer to young Nigeria, I discovered that most Nigerian footballers are not educated which is a disadvantage to them when negotiating their contract and with these kind of programmes they will be able to stand for them self in the future.<\/div>\n

The programme have given us the privileges to take 12 young Nigerians to the Vista Academy in Russia and 9 of them are playing international clubs football across Europe and notable among them is Samson Tijani the former captain of the national U-17 team\u00a0 who is now playing in RB Salzburg\u00a0and Kunle Olusegun and a lot of them playing across Europe.<\/div>\n

While ascertaining the impact of the project on the young footballer we have in Nigeria the top agent said.<\/div>\n

“For me it is number one project in Nigeria combining football with education and its the best of its kind and it the one that gives them the opportunity to travel at the right age to Europe, it also prepare you to travel at the right time\u00a0 and also prepare you for the football challenge at the club level at least for now Vista project is one of the. Best at the moment”<\/div>\n

According to him, one of the amazing thing is that the players\u00a0 will be in Europe in the next 2 months to start a career in football with education once you are identify as a talent and the scouts are satisfy with your ability to make the top grade once you get to the academy in Russia.<\/div>\n

\u00a0We have ensure every part of Nigeria are represented, we have\u00a0 done a pre-scouting by my team for over 12 states in Nigeria and we have 3 centres, one centre is in Ogun state hosted by Remo Stars\u00a0 Honorable Kunle Soname team, we finished there and we left to Uyo Akwa-Ibom state and now we are in Abuja for the final phase.<\/div>\n

In the course of our project, my partners are of the opinion that Nigeria is the home of talent and my partners confess to me that\u00a0 they are already confused with talents that they have seen so far, he concluded.<\/div>\n
