{"id":21583,"date":"2023-03-18T12:54:43","date_gmt":"2023-03-18T11:54:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gongnews.net\/?p=21583"},"modified":"2023-03-18T12:54:43","modified_gmt":"2023-03-18T11:54:43","slug":"2023-aivc-nimrod-hails-major-general-taritimiye-gagariga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gongnews.net\/2023-aivc-nimrod-hails-major-general-taritimiye-gagariga\/","title":{"rendered":"2023 AIVC: Nimrod hails Major General Taritimiye Gagariga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod has hailed the sponsor of the just concluded 2023 Abuja Invitational Volleyball Challenge, Major General Taritimiye Gagariga.<\/p>\n<p>Nimrod revealed that Maj Gen Gagariga has laid the foundation for where raw talents are discovered.<\/p>\n<p>The Secretary General of CAVB- African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) Zone 3 charged other good spirited Nigerians to emulate the feat shown by the sponsor to ensure Volleyball has enough players at its disposal for local and international competitions.<\/p>\n<p>He said, &#8220;I want to appreciate Major General Taritimiye Gagariga who sponsored the tournament. This is not the first time, he has done it in three different states and now Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese are young raw talents where some of them are writing secondary schools exams. The competition consists of volleyball players who don\u2019t play in the league. This is the real grassroots we are talking about.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not surprised with the performance of Offa because they have developmental programmes and they have always been together.
