The early rounds saw hattricks and double braces, while nine matches were decided by penalty shootouts – a testament to the tournament’s competitiveness.
In the round of 64, 32 matches yielded 93 goals, and impressively, there were only two red cards. As the round of 32 kicks off on Thursday at the Aspire Sports Arena in Oshodi, expect intense battles and potentially more upsets.
