3rd Agribusiness Roundtable International Conference: Will Partner ARISE Agenda Of Gov Umo Eno – Usen

The ARISE Agenda of Gov Umo Eno will continue to receive more boast as the 3rd Agribusiness Roundtable International Conference will focus on Agribusiness value chain, food sufficiency, economic sustainability, unemployment and many other agribusiness opportunities in Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Roundtable Conference will begin on Sunday, 27th October and will be rounded off on Tuesday, 29th October; 2024 at the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo, with the theme,” Unlocking Agribusiness Opportunities for Economic Sustainability and many other sub themes.

The conference is organised by the South South Zone of the Nigeria Agribusiness and Agro-Industry Development Initiative (NAADI), the Federation of Agricultural Commodity Association of Nigeria (FACAN), the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment Abuja in collaboration with the Akwa Ibom State Ministries of Trade and Investment; and Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Conference as gathered will connect with over 500 Leaders, Investors, and Financiers; and will also explore innovative and in-depth keynote presentations for the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Doris Uzoka-Aneti among others.

He gathering will also feature presentation of commodities and products exhibitions and networking opportunities with the theme – Unlocking Agribusiness Opportunities for Economic Sustainability.

The Chairman of the Central Planning Committee who is also the South South Coordinator of NAADI, Mr Howard Usen said the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno will be honoured as the Best Agric Governor in Nigeria during the conference.

He said the Governor deserves an award from the organisers of the conference because of his commitment to the agricultural sector in the State.

According to him, ” we will honour the Governor because he is putting Agriculture at the pivot of his ARISE Agenda”

Usen maintained that in partnership with the ARISE Agenda of the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, the International Conference is like a one stop shot to showcase the developmental effort regarding Agriculture and allied businesses within and outside the region.

He extends invitation to farmers, financial institutions, and captains of Industries within and outside the state as according him, the three-day event will address serious business concerns of the people.
